Roland Wagner, M.Ed., M.S.W.  (Mgr.)

Trainer, consultant, coach and mediator.

A graduate from the Civil Engineering Secondary School and further study at the Secondary Pedagogical School he studied at the Pedagogical Faculty at the Comenius University (UK) in Bratislava, specialisation in Special and Therapeutic Pedagogy (education of persons requiring special care), Social Work and Teacher of the German Language.

Since 1988 he has worked with both healthy and handicapped children as a carer in the Secondary Trades School for students with hearing defects, therapeutic instructor at the IVZ Children’s Clinic, social worker, head of the social work department, deputy director and later an external supervisor of social workers in the Prof. K. Matulay Institute for Children and Youth with mental handicap, an external lecturer at the UK Pedagogical Faculty. He participated in the designing and launching of several professional projects: Section of Early Diagnostics and Therapy of Children, Social Work Section at the Preventive and Clinical Medicine Institute Slovak Labour Ministry’s Council for Social Work Minimum Standards, a ‘HERE WE ARE’ Foundation, civic association Návrat, civic association Pro Natal , Foundation SOCIA and others. During his study and practice he both took part in and led numerous training courses in social-psychological therapy and managerial skills development.

In 1995-1999 he was a trainer and human resources manager in IKEA Bratislava, s.r.o. Since May 1999  he works as an external coach in Volkswagen Slovakia, a.s. and since 2007 also in Skoda Mlada Boleslav. He focuses mainly on human resources selection and development in private and non-private sectors and counselling.


Oto Kovarik, M.S.W.  (Mgr.)

Graduated from the Pedagogical Faculty at the Comenius University (UK) in Bratislava, majoring in social work. During his studies he spent 18 months in US as a participant of the international exchange programme for Slovak students of humanities and helping professions. To his clients, citizens with mental handicap, he provided services as a Community Training Specialist. After graduation his first job was a social worker at the Psychiatric Clinic of the Slovak Post-gradual Academy of Medicine (SPAM) at the hospital in Bratislava – Ružinov. His task was to increase the quality of life of mentally ill people, mainly by social integration of this, often rejected, group of citizens. Since 1 Nov 2000 he works as an external coach in Volkswagen Slovakia, a.s.
